The last Thursday of every month, LAGO will host a communal meal featuring animal roasts and traditional, rustic dishes.  The “Bite of the Beast” dinner series includes a 5-course dinner featuring the choice animal.

This month’s menu features: 
All-Natural, Durham Ranch Wild Boar - Cinghiale

Durham Wild Boar is all natural and feral from Texas. It is trapped in the wild and processed exclusively under the Durham Ranch label. Described as sweet, nutty and earthy,  Wild Boar is a healthy alternative to beef due to its high protein and low fat content.

Locally Sourced Produce from the Santa Monica Farmers’ Market: savoy cabbage from Tutti Frutti, Pink Lady apples from Fair Hill, potatoes from Weiser, turnips from Carpenter and citrus (Oro Blanco grapefruit, blood orange, Valencia orange and tangerine) from JJ Lone Daughter Ranch.
